  1. Wow. This was overwhelming. I liked the voice activated horse. I can't comment on the dog having puppies, that was just too much. The holographic Barbie I think is wonderful technology for modern girls, but I am old school in terms of interaction. Great video.

  2. The dog having puppies was a bit much for me, too. Some things just need to be left to the imagination. The hologram is cool. I hope the technology is password protected with other security measures in place so owners do not face the same hacking issues experienced with the My Friend Cayla doll which has been in the news of late.

If you haven't heard about it (Germany requiring parents to destroy the dolls) read about it here.

    1. DBG - Did you see that Gabby Douglas doll is coming out? Maybe you already did a post about it, and I missed it.

    3. LOL! I can understand the confusion since the My Froggy Stuff blogger and her daughter are in the video.

  3. When I first saw the puppies being born a couple videos ago, my reaction wasn't the best. However, I sure could have used this visual three years ago when I was surprised with my rescue dog giving puppies. I was a basket case. I'm not sure if this would have helped, but I would have appreciated the visual. The hologram is awesome! I saw this because I am one of those people who will carry on a whole conversation with Cortana (Android) on my phone. She sings to me and everything. I imagine this hologram will be a great comfort to girls, especially those who may not have a lot of friends. And the horse! Wow. I'm impressed.

    1. "I say this", not "I saw this"

    2. The puppies might have helped you. Witnessing the births if puppies for the first time (expected or unexpected) had to be a trying experience.

I think the hologram is pretty cool. The horse, too.

  4. Oh wow, I see many must haves here! Love the new fashionistas and I am sure many of them will join my little doll town, Hanaly Corners. So excited to see that they are offering the Gabby Douglas doll too and I will be ordering her for sure too! Also, I noticed that Ashley Graham was with the Sheroe group too, so wonder if we will be able to get her as well! Looks like 2017 will be another great year to buy dolls! Thanks for sharing

    1. Hi Phyllis!

I'm excited about the Gabby Douglas Barbie, too.

While Mattel had the Ashley Graham Barbie on display at Toy Fair, I am not sure if additional dolls are planned. This is based on Graham's late-2016 appearance on The Talk where she brought the doll and discussed it with the show hosts. At the time of the show, she said there were only two -- Mattel had one and she had one. When asked if more would be made, she said "hashtag Ashley Graham Barbie: #ashleygrahambarbie or write Mattel.

Guess what? Recently Mattel's new CEO's address was posted on Facebook. I've added it below for you and others who might want to drop her a line and ask about this doll and others, if desired.

      Mary Margaret Georgiadis, CEO
      333 Continental Blvd.
      El Segundo, CA 90245

Here is a link to Ashley's segment on The Talk.

  5. So many lovely dolls that I plan to add. I wish they would bring back articulation.

  6. Cool! I know you're happy with that the Gabby Douglas doll will be produced.

I like the black doll with the big afro, the 2 orange-haired dolls, and the blue haired doll. Oh and the tan beauty with the big curly hair. Hoping that there are more guys not yet seen ....

    1. Yes, I am excited the Gabby Douglas Barbie will be produced. That one I will purchase for certain. I like the doll with the Afro, but not the body and the flat feet. Rebodying will be a must. There are several other nice ones. I just wish their bodies were articulated or that at least some were.
