I must post Photos!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08783110025340494758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6047557606653771556.post-50869337528348012242014-10-11T00:11:42.449-05:002014-10-11T00:11:42.449-05:00Muff,

I am glad, though, that you have now been introduced to My Size Barbie, whose target market is definitely little girls.

I really enjoyed the video of the little girl being surprised with one... that was pretty classic.

dbgBlack Doll Enthusiasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07534871309015210903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6047557606653771556.post-770096840691070972014-10-10T21:33:20.938-05:002014-10-10T21:33:20.938-05:00Debbie, I've never seen (or had previously hea...Debbie, I've never seen (or had previously heard of) My Size Barbies. Onlyalisa's photo of one next to Friend Nikki doesn't show a face so I looked up some images on line and videos on YouTube (this one in particular was extremely smile inducing).

Hmmm. Even after viewing all that, they just aren't for me. I like a more compact sized doll and the 1:6 scale is best for me. Not too small that I'm fumbling about and not too big that I cant comfortably create an environment for them.Muffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06121187068323359131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6047557606653771556.post-60292306493449153152014-10-08T04:44:15.880-05:002014-10-08T04:44:15.880-05:00Hope you found the Kenya dolls you sought, Muff. ...Hope you found the Kenya dolls you sought, Muff.

Stepford wives, huh? Then what is your opinion of the My Size Barbies? I have two that I have never removed from the box. They are huge, but size doesn't bother me. My issue is space. I have a friend who, until she had to move to a smaller place, had every AA MSB that had been released and some extras that she redressed.

Different tastes for different collectors is what makes the love of dolls interesting.

dbgBlack Doll Enthusiasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07534871309015210903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6047557606653771556.post-8835896106263918082014-10-05T21:42:11.604-05:002014-10-05T21:42:11.604-05:00I saw them about 2 weeks ago at TRU when I went lo...I saw them about 2 weeks ago at TRU when I went looking for Kenya dolls. They kind of startled me when I passed by and not in a good way, but not in a creepy way either. They looked ... uncomfortable and had no personalities. That's the best way I can describe them. Kind of like Stepford Wives but in doll form. I'm not a big-doll kind of person anyway, so maybe that is coloring my viewpoint. As an adult collector I would say no but a kid might enjoy the novelty.Muffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06121187068323359131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6047557606653771556.post-73178446569191049112014-10-03T16:50:03.029-05:002014-10-03T16:50:03.029-05:00The description at Just Play should not indicate t...The description at Just Play should not indicate the doll is articulated if it is not beyond the usual areas. That would've made it interesting cuz I've never seen that before. But it would've been a lot more expensive if it was. Knees and elbows and wrists definitely couldn't bend. It looked hollow and cheap. Maybe around Christmas they'll go on sale.
