Carla's New 'Do Before Settling In

Little Missmatched Artsy Girl "Carla" shows off her original loose ponytails as she browses her new surroundings in hopes of meeting new doll friends.

Carla's loose ponytails were okay, but I thought I'd add colorful ponytails holders that match her clothes.

She likes the new ponytail holders...

Carla said she knows she is going to like it here, too.

    1. Thanks, Chynadoll! A girl never gets to old to comb or restyle a dolls hair.

    1. Georgia Girl - If my camera took better background pictures or if I knew how to set it for taking them, you probably would have been able to figure out the background decor.

Thanks for the compliment. Beautiful and too many -- understandable for you now, I am sure, why it was so difficult for me to locate Diana Ross.

  3. Love the face sculpt! Her nose is so gentle, enough to hold on the glasses but soft enough to work with the shy smile.

    1. Hi Jan!

Carla has a nice whimsical sculpt. Covered by her glasses are the intentional nasal indentations created by her glasses. At first I thought they were freckles (but there are only two, one on either side of her septum). Then I thought "dimples?". Because of their placement, I realize they are supposed to be impressions from where her glasses rest on her barely there nose. Very clever of the Tonner people.

  4. Love the hair! But I think she is standing there saying, "What have I gotten myself into by coming here? How will I ever get any attention with all these other dolls?" And what are the dolls saying? "Oh goodness, here comes another one. We really must stop this madness."
