Loose DAFs

A variety of dolls and action figures

Loose dolls and action figures (DAFs) as displayed on one shelf of a three-tiered bookcase.  DAFs are by Hasbro (GI Joe), Hot Toys, Ideal, Integrity Toys, Lanard Toys, Madame Alexander, Mattel, M & C Toy Limited (World Peacekeepers), MGA, Mixis, Only Hearts Club, and an unknown manufacturer.  The guy on the far right with the weapon, constantly polices their actions.

    1. Christie does look a bit perturbed at her doesn't see? LOL! It's amazing how dolls can really "speak" their minds.

  2. Great photo! I can't help but to try to peek at the second shelf. I see Bob hiding out down there.

    1. Thanks, Roxanne!

Yes, that's Bob on the second shelf. I have Dave, too, but he's still in his box. To Bob's right is a WPK and on the far right of the shelf is GI Joe Grunt. I have two LaBaby twins in a basket and doll reference books on the same shelf.

The LaBaby dolls have been rerooted using my grandson's hair. I'll probably never part with them for this reason, even though I no longer collect baby dolls.

    2. That is so sweet that the baby dolls were rerooted using your grandson's hair! I would never part with them because of that. Did you reroot the dolls yourself? I recognized the WPK because he's one that I have (the only WPK that I have). I went to Big Lots recently and they no longer carry the WPK dolls. Makes me wish that I had bought more when I had the chance. Some of them were really handsome.

    3. Yes, I rooted the babies' hair myself. It was a difficult process because their heads are firm vinyl. I broke several needles and stuck myself several times in the process.

I haven't seen any AA WPKs at Big Lots since 2009 when I purchased my four.

  3. There's something fun about loose dolls. Seeing them posed and "reading" their minds and attitudes.

Thanks for sharing this peep into your doll room.

  4. Who's the lady in the blue crocheted hat? I see a WPK all the way in the back that I have been searching for. Nice to see him in someone's collection.
