Inspired by the first lady's recently revealed new hairstyle, my Official White House Portrait Doll of Michelle Obama by Franklin Mint now wears a banged wig.
Using a wig that belongs to another doll, I tried it on Michelle for size. It's a little large for her head, but it achieves the desired effect as illustrated below:

Your doll, much like the First Lady herself, looks lovely! :-)

Love it!
ReplyDeleteShe looks great. Now she just needs the red ballgown!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandy!
ReplyDeleteI would love to own a replica of her red ballgown or one similar, Paulette (writing it into existence).
I think the bangs shave years off the real First Lady as well as the doll.

She looks great in both, and I agree, the bangs shaves off years. She is gorgeous as both a doll and more so as a living doll.
ReplyDeleteThanks, GG. I agree; lovely doll and lovely real person.

She looks lovely. If you hadn't said it was a wig I would have thought you'd just combed out her regular hair.
