  1. I understand them. I never see any dolls of color on their paper products, the bags, wallets, etc. I just don't buy a lot of their non-doll products for this reason.

    1. So do I, Dollz4Moi,

Little brown girls, like the children in this story who long to have party and other items that feature their favorite mass-produced doll, probably feel left out.

The only thing I've ever seen in past years is Barbie bedding for a little girl's room. It is probably produced in very limited numbers with availability not as widespread as the bedding that features white Barbie. Mattel could use the SIS dolls for AA and Hispanic-themed items.

I'd love to see more doll trunks/cases featuring AA Barbie, too. They just need to step up their inclusive game.

    2. Hi, i tottally agree with the lack of black doll imagery on things and black art as a whole is very hard to find products that represent little beautiful brown girls. I have opened up a small business "La'Ebony©" where i design black art and produce my artwork on products, most of which are handmade. I have also created my own "black girls rock" barbie doll. - you may be interested in having a look check out my blog - it has a link to my page where i sell my products. And my blog features some of my artwork and products . Let me know what you think x

  2. I've only ever frequented the boy section of the kid party supplies so I'm not up on girl licensed stuff. I can imagine it's darn frustating to want a theme that doesn't exist. Good for them on speaking up.

  3. I love the wig on your AA doll shown. Lovely hairstyle.

I signed the petition. Crossing my fingers for success for those who buy those items.

    1. Thanks, D7ana. "Paulette" (the doll) wears a Limbe Dolls wig.

Thanks for signing the petition. I signed it as well.
