Onlyalisa gave Barbie Best Fashion Friend Nikki what she describes as a quick makeover.
She explained:
I wanted an urban natural look, nothing fancy -- hair, faceup, simple outfit. I made Nikki's outfit from a pair of old jeans. I also made her a denim shrug. Those are the same red boots that I tried on her for size. I tapered the boots to fit Nikki's leg and used black acrylic paint with clear glitter brush-on latex/gloss varnish for sealer.
Nikki was given a boil perm. Her new hairstyle can be seen from several angles in the next image.

She is pretty! I especially love her hair! I have never seen her in TRU. Now, I have to go check her out...well maybe not. I don't have enough room for any more of the larger doll. I guess I will have to live through pictures. :-)
ReplyDeleteI know, GG. I wanted her too, but really don't have the room. You could work wonders with her, too. I could do the hair, but I would be far less creative with a new fashion for her. So I guess I will admire from afar as well.

Friends I'd just want to understand something; This lovely girl is smaller than the common Barbie's size,or is taller than this??I suppose we have not this dolls in Brasil,yet...I thank for some answer...
