Moxie Teenz Bijou by MGA Entertainment
(Exhale... the ordering links are below my initials)
After placing my one-click order at Target.com (through Ebates.com first to get the 3% cash back Target.com pays for entering their site through Ebates.com), I conducted a Google.com search to see if Bijou is available for ordering and/or in stock elsewhere. I found ordering available on Amazon.com; however, the doll is listed as temporarily out of stock and an estimated date of shipping is not provided at their site. Amazon.com is not an Ebates.com affiliate. Bijou is not yet in stock at ToyRUs.com
I'd like to think that the cards, emails, and letters to MGAE helped expedite Bijou’s release. It never hurts to express your wants and desires to merchants. They can either listen and supply the demand, or lose the capital they would have gained by complying.

Wow...$5.04! You can't beat that with a stick. Hooray for you!!!!! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWell, I may not be getting Bijou now. I think I am going to wait until the interchangeable afro wig becomes available in the store and then I'm going to buy it and put it on my Arizona doll. I saw a pic of it (the afro wig) online. Tee hee! Can't wait.
Good move, Hugs! I'm sure I'll purchase the Afro wig, too. I hope it will be available locally.

Just found an image of the Afro wig pack. Yes, gotta have it!

Yep, it is just too cute.
ReplyDeleteBijou is actually at some Target and Toys R Us stores...at least where I live.
ReplyDeleteBijou is actually at some Target and Toys R Us stores...well, at least where I live.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is not with MGA. The problem is that store buyers are generally sketchy when it comes to black dolls. That is why stores get single case assortments of Bijou, Sasha, Bria, Whatever the current "Barbie As/In" movie' black version dolls.
ReplyDeleteSometimes they take a little longer to show up because they are shipped alone and sent out to areas where they will sell in carefully planned numbers.
I have all three wigs and extensive photos of them over at my blog.
