Talking Tip Doll from the Movie Home

The 11-inch Talking Tip doll represents the teenage girl character (Gratuity "Tip" Tucci), in the recently released Dreamworks film, Home.  The deluxe version, shown above, includes the doll and alien sidekick, Oh.   In the deluxe package, Tip is dressed as shown, speaks five phrases from the movie and has the above shown accessories.  I have not been able to locate US-based sellers of the deluxe version.  If this one is a must-have now for those residing in the US, expect to pay 40+ dollars for it as well as international shipping.

For those able to settle for the talking doll minus the extras in the deluxe set, ToysRUs.com sells the doll only, dressed as shown above for $21.99.  This version also recites five phrases from the movie.  Unlike the deluxe version, this Tip comes with an extra outfit.  The shoes are removable on both dolls.

At the time of this publication, the talking doll with outfit is also available on Amazon.com for prices that vary from $25.72 + shipping to almost $50 with free shipping for Prime members.  What a difference pricing and hairstyles make.  I prefer the TRU.com price and the hairstyle as illustrated in the Amazon.com photo.

  1. Glad to see they put the doll out so quickly. I haven't seen the movie, but I want to. I imagine a deluxe version will show up in the US soon.

    3. To Anonymous on July 11, 2024: For a doll that was on the market 9 years ago, use Google's search engine to locate any that are still available.

  6. I'm disappointed that they didn't make a plush doll with no removeable parts for toddlers
