Selling Her Collection

Fellow doll collector and former member of my now closed doll group, Linda Hayes, informed me that she is selling her extensive Black-doll collection.  I offered to list some of the items that she is selling, dolls as well as clothing and accessories, here in several blog-post installments.  These posts will be featured for the next several Thursdays.  When I can, images will be included, but for the most part, I will list the items with the price.  For pictures, feel free to contact the seller whose email is shown below:

Linda may be contacted directly at:  poet540@msn.com
Her accepted payments are Paypal and mailed checks.

Disclaimer:  Please note that while I know Linda and have purchased items from her in the past that I was thoroughly satisfied with, any transaction that takes place as a result of one of my courtesy blog posts that lists her for sale items will remain strictly between buyer and seller.

Today's post features vintage Barbie and made-for-Barbie (MFB) fashions and a few dolls that are priced as shown.

The fashions are loose pieces – no packages:

  1. Thank you for listing these, Debbie. I wish Linda the best of luck in selling her collection.

Holy moly I wish that I could afford her Action Team Super Peggy (eBay listing)! That doll is on my list of dolls that I want, but may never be able to get!

    2. Roxanne, I know how it feels to want a doll. Offer me a price, and I'll see if I can accept it. Or better yet, I'm willing to do payments. Linda

    1. One day we might all get to this point... if not us, our family members, which is why I plan to find new homes for those that are no longer endearing to me sooner than later. It might be a long process, however.

  4. Wow! I remember Linda! Good luck to her! While I no longer collect, I still have all my dolls, less my Black Happy Holidays which I gave to my 1st grand daughter and pray her mom kept them intact. I'm afraid to ask! : )

    1. Hi Lee,

I sure hope your 1st GD has kept the Holiday Barbies intact. If not, I hope she enjoyed them out of the box.

  5. Wish Linda Hayes the best luck with her sale. She sold very cool stuff when she showed at the Philadelphia Black Doll Show. Sigh. I will miss her from that venue.
