MCDC 25th Anniversary Luncheon - Celebration - It's Our Birthday Souvenir Doll by Goldie Wilson
The luncheon souvenir doll is a 14-inch porcelain doll with cloth body by Goldie Wilson, shown above, still in her box, and below in a close-up photo prior to removing from the box.
She has brown inset eyes with upper eyelashes.
The rest of her facial features are hand painted. She has black hair with side bangs. Her jewelry consists of pearl stud earrings and a pearl necklace.
The hair is pulled back into a curly bun.
She is dressed in a full-length white dress with white pantaloons.
The shoes are fired-on pearlized gray slippers.
The front bodice of the dress is embellished with clear, sewn-on beads. A pink sash with decorative ribbon flower in the front and pink bow-tie in the back accent the waist.
Three pearl buttons close the back of the dress.
Full-length view from the back
This lovely doll wears a fascinator made of crinoline with a decorative pink floral ribbon in the center that matches the floral ribbon on the sash of the dress.
Close-up of the fascinator
Made in an edition of 85, a photo greeting card with envelope and a certificate of authenticity were included with the MCDC 2018 Luncheon doll.

Goldie Wilson follows this blog. After she read this post, she sent a short, but sweet email, which I captured in the following image.
My heart smiled.
