Young Grandmaster Choi 3 and Rayven Plush Doll

Young Grandmaster Choi 3 Rayven plush doll

Black woman-owned Shero Comics, an award-winning multimedia company that creates comics and manga centered around Black women and girls as heroes, is celebrating 10 years by launching Young Grandmaster Choi Chapter 3 on Kickstarter (see the link below), which will include its first-ever Rayven Choi plush doll!

Rayven is an orphaned six-year-old Black American Army brat who moves to South Korea, is adopted by a Korean family, and builds confidence through family, culture, and martial arts.

The four Rayven dolls represent self-confidence, cultural pride, and courage.

Plush Rayven joins the other dolls pictured above from the Zelda Award-winning manga series, Young Grandmaster Choi.

Dressed in martial arts attire, the new plush doll is pictured in full view from the front and back.

Shequeta L. Smith, founder of Shero Comics, shares more details about Rayven in the following video.

The new Rayven plush doll launches alongside Young Grandmaster Choi 3 on Kickstarter on October 13, 2026.
