Videos of the 2020 ABBDA Doll Show

The videos of the 2020 Annual Festival of Black Dolls Show and Sale are uploaded on Youtube in six parts.  Videos of the interview of Bukola Somide and the drawing for the Harriet Tubman doll were posted on Instagram. Snippets of the guest's interview are also included in the Youtube videos.

In these videos, you will learn the history of the Oakland African American Museum and Library and the history of the African American Black Beauty Doll Artists club, the organization that sponsored the show. A brief spoon doll workshop and commentary from members of ABBDA and other vendors with their dolls or doll-related items are included in these videos. Links to the lists of members/vendors are included below the videos.
