Angela Davis Doll T-Shirt

18-inch Madame Alexander dolls

The doll on the far left on the back row from the Alexander Girlz line was sold through Costco over a decade ago. She is redressed in this photo and was redressed again for the second time for Christmas 2024. I named her Gabbi.

Gabbi is seen in her original clothes here. For Christmas 2024, She enjoyed a brief second redressing in the fashion shown below.

A Christmas redress

Gabbi looked so cute in this dress and jacket that I almost did not redress her after the holidays.

Close-up of Angela Davis (inspired) T-shirt

After Christmas, I dressed Gabbi in the Angela Davis doll T-shirt I received for Christmas. (The T-shirt image does not look like Davis.)

Hair clips added

I added a black and a red hair clip to her naturally curly hair. The red hair clip adds a pop of color to the otherwise black, white, and gray ensemble.

Gabbi wears the T-shirt with pre-torn gray leggings and black and white low-top Converse-style sneakers.

          The final look.

The red sneakers below are an option for Gabbi to wear with the T-shirt and leggings.

Low-top red Chucks

These red low-top Converse-style sneakers made for 18-inch dolls were included with my 2024 Christmas presents.
Angela Davis is seen in 1974 and in a more recent picture, both captured from the Internet.

Who is Angela Davis? She is a philosopher, activist, former political prisoner, author, professor emeritus... Read more about her here

  1. I can see why you almost left her in those clothes! She looks very cute in them. Love the sneakers. My favorite part of doll clothes is the shoes that look like people items. The t-shirt is nice too and I enjoyed learning more about the person it was supposed to resemble.

    1. Thank you Michelle! The Converse-style sneakers look authentic.

I thought I needed to add some information about Angela Davis for those who were not familiar with her.
