Barbie Fashions Were $19.95, Now $9.95

The Barbie Look Fashions

My new Barbie Look Collection fashions arrived sometime during the last week of November and remained in the shipping box until the need to repurpose the box arose.  Wow!  I was pleasantly pleased with a resurgence of childhood memories opening new Barbie fashions for my dolls.

Red Carpet fashion

I already owned the Red Carpet fashion, which can be seen here. I purchased the duplicate because the sale price was irresistible.

The other two fashions are fabulous from what I can see through the unopened boxes.

Party Perfect fashion

Party Perfect is a sleeveless 60s-inspired light blue and silver brocade cocktail dress and light blue sheer shawl.  Accessories are light blue high-heel shoes, silver lamรฉ clutch, silver earrings and bracelet, and makeup compact.  A New Year's gala invitation is also included.

Tea Party fashion

Tea Party is perfect for just that.  A black sleeveless dress with splatters of muted pinks has a black patent leather belt.  There is a matching headband with black flower and bow attached, high heel mules, a tea service for two, and a tea time invitation.

These Barbie Look fashions are currently reduced at Barbiecollector.com to $9.95 each.  With the use of my final Barbie Fan Club reward for the year, I only paid $5.95 each.

So, even at $9.95, if your dolls are in need of fashions suitable for the red carpet, crumpets and tea (or tea and tea cakes, depending on your doll's preference), or a New Year's gala, grab these before they sell out.  At the time of this post, the price of Pink on the Green and Poolside is also reduced to $9.95.

  3. Debbie - You're the greatest!! I forgot all about these reductions until reading your blog this morning. Signed onto Barbie Collector and got two fashions @ $9.95 while the Red Carpet and Poolside had been reduced to $7+ each!! They also gave FREE SHIPPING for orders over $25 so it was a WIN-WIN situation. Thanks again for the reminder!!

    1. Woo hoo! That's wonderful you were able to take advantage of the now free shipping and even further reduction in item price, FDL. Now I wish I had waited, but that's okay. I enjoy the fact that others can still take advantage of the sale and save even more. Thanks for letting me and others who read this know.

    2. Hi, I was able to purchase them at Tuesday Morning for $9.95. Apparently the Party Perfect is HTF as someone on the Doll Boards on FB said it's on EBAY for a high price. I haven't been able to find it either.

    3. I stumbled upon the price I paid at BC when preordering the Gold Gown Barbie. I didn't realize the Party Perfect one was HTF but it is understandable that it is. I hope you're able to find it.

  4. Like Simsgrl said, Tuesday Morning has these but in my area they were $9.99 and they only had the golf one in stock. I had already reached my limit in spending so I didn't get it. I hope they get them all because eventually I'll build back up my dollie money!

    1. Tuesday Morning moved farther south than I am to a shopping conglomeration where I rarely venture out so my chances of having found these fashions there would have been slim to none, Muff. They used to sell items online, but I believe they discontinued their online shop, at least the last time I visited it was not available.

I used to love shopping at Tuesday Morning and would check them out at least once or twice a month. I won't travel to their new location to continue the practice, however. You leave my community you lose my moolah.

The same thing happened with Toys R Us. They moved farther south, too and haven't seen me but once since the move and that was over two years ago.

I don't bend and can easily do without or find other sources.

  5. I saw these for sale at BC.com, but the one I really wanted, the Ski outfit was sold out. I will have to check the TMs in my area. The one closest to me closed down, and I haven't ventured out to another one in quite some time.
