18-inch Friends Boutique Doll by Madame Alexander (Patience)
After recently reading about
Kerri and her new glasses, thinking how adorable she looks in them, and finding a pair of wire-rimmed glasses on my computer hutch yesterday, I decided to try them on my doll, Patience.
I think she looks adorable. Her twin, Passion, who is looking on in the background, agrees.

ReplyDeleteHow can I get her? I love her!
ReplyDeleteHi Felecia,
DeleteThis particular doll was purchased at Walmart two years ago. Walmart has since stocked different versions of this doll. Check your local store for available stock. The most recent dark skinned versions are a ballerina and a school girl that actually wears black-rimmed glasses.

The doll you are showcasing here is new I know, but her face mold looks kinda similar to a doll I used to have back in mid 90s early 2000s, only that doll had a more open mouth, eyelids that closed when you lay her down, and was not 18 inches (to clarify, she was about half the height of an american girl doll, with shorter legs I believe, though not a baby doll). I've been looking for said doll for years and years, and with your wonderful books and blog I thought you might be able to help.
ReplyDeleteHi Animeas,
DeleteI might be able to help you if I knew the doll's manufacturer. Do you know who made the doll? I am assuming that you don't know the doll's manufactured name either, is that correct?
