Christmas Dolls 2021 Part 1 of 5

The dolls shown are most of the Christmas dolls I received in 2021.

To give each doll the attention needed that one blog post cannot do, I will write separate posts for each of the above dolls received for Christmas 2021. From L-R, they are a 12-inch cloth doll by Anna Shitova, a Russian doll artist who owns the Etsy Shop, AnnyDollArt. Kelsey, the boxed doll with lavender ombre hair, is a Ruby Red Siblies doll. An LOL Surprise! Present Surprise doll is in the small box. Melissa is a Minikane doll by Paola Reina.

This first brief post is devoted to the AnnyDollArt doll that was a special gift from a special friend.

This lovely 12-inch tall cloth doll has hand-painted facial features.

The wig, which is as soft as cotton, is made of natural goat hair.

It is styled in two side ponytails to which I have added light blue ribbons as shown in the final two photographs.

The full description of this lovely doll is recorded on the 2021 page of my Excel doll inventory workbook as follows:

12-inch cloth doll, hand-painted face, black wig styled in two side ponytails made of goat hair, has applied cloth ears; wears a brown floral-print dress with cotton lace-trimmed sleeves and hemline, white knit panties, white cotton socks, and beige leather slip-on shoes; has a beige leather and jute shoulder bag that has a gold-tone strap. The dress has jute bow accents at the sleeves, above the hemline, and a jute drawstring at the back of the neck. The neck and hemline strings are adorned with brown wooden beads at the ends.

I added light blue ribbons to each ponytail.

A final close-up of her lovely face

I was first introduced to AnnyDollArt by Betty Ativie, the friend who purchased this doll for me. One of Betty's dolls is an installation in the one-of-a-kind category of DeeBeeGee's Virtual Black Doll Museum
