A black and white copy of an article printed in Harlem Community News Vol. 10, No. 5 on February 4, 2010, page 18, was shared with me by a fellow doll enthusiast, Ms. Lillian Bartok: "Mt Sinai Uses Dolls for Extraordinary Results with Patients."
I conducted a Google.com search for "Mt. Sinai doll project," and found the original article,which includes the color image of hospital staff and a diverse collection of dolls used to sooth geriatric patients.
Dolls do have extraordinarily soothing, therapeutic qualities.
